For Fascination of Plants Day 2024, a total of 39 events were organized across China featuring science popularisation sessions on “desert plants,” hands-on practical exercises exploring “the Survival Wisdom of Desert Plants and Promoting the Spirit of Scientists,” as well as public-participatory nature observation initiatives like “Autumn Tree Observation” and “Investigating the Microscopic World of Plants”. 27 activities took place at the Turpan Desert Botanical Garden under the auspices of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
