The celebration of International Plant Fascination Day was held at various institutions and locations in Uruguay. At the Montevideo Botanical Garden, the event “Diverse Plants, Diverse Perspectives” took place, combining informational conferences, experimentation with aromas, a graphic art exhibition, and popular songsnts as the central theme. Tours of the Botanical Garden and a forest bathing or Shinrin Yoku experience were also conducted. The Clemente Estable Biological Research Institute produced an educational video about the electrophysiology of carnivorous plants. Meanwhile, the Institute of Biological Research in the department of Canelones conducted a tour focused on identifying native plants. The Northern Regional Center of the Republic University gave talks to schoolchildren in the department of Tacuarembó. At the Torres de Llosa Natural History Museum, a Botany Atlas created by teachers from the Artigas Teacher Institute was presented. At the Faculty of Agronomy of the Republic University, exhibitions of plant materials, informational talks, and identification tours were held.
