We are delighted to warmly welcome Slovenia’s participation in Fascination of #PlantsDay2026 and sincerely thank our National Coordinator, Maruša Pompe Novak, for reaffirming Slovenia’s strong commitment to this important initiative.
Slovenia has been actively involved in Fascination of Plants Day since 2012, continuously promoting the vital role of plant science in advancing biodiversity, sustainability, and societal well-being. Over the years, more than 20 organisations across the country have contributed to the celebration, organising a wide range of engaging events — from scientific presentations and hands-on workshops to creative activities that connect science and art.
We look forward to once again showcasing Slovenia’s inspiring programme in 2026 and to highlighting the many activities that engage people of all ages, spark curiosity, and foster a deeper appreciation for plants and their essential role in our lives and environment.
