As part of the “Fest of Science and Plants”, the M.G. Kholodny Institute of Botany invites visitors to explore the fascinating diversity of plants, algae, and natural ecosystems of Ukraine 🌱
Researchers from the Department of Phycology, Lichenology and Bryology will showcase living cultures of microalgae that visitors can observe under the microscope, alongside herbarium collections and algae samples from the Black Sea and other aquatic environments 💧
The exhibition will also highlight the diversity of Ukrainian plant communities and biotopes. Scientists from the Department of Geobotany and Ecology will present materials on urban vegetation, natural ecosystems, and local biodiversity, helping visitors better understand the plant life surrounding us every day 🌍
