Pupils from Salvator Elementary School will present a variety of gardening crafts and activities, including making seed bombs, planting vegetable seedlings, and exchanging young plants. Visitors can enjoy food and drinks while exploring handmade creations and a wide selection of veggie seedlings—all supporting the school’s future projects 💚
Adding a scientific touch, a plant biologist from Forschungszentrum Jülich will introduce visitors to the fascinating world of plant roots and root phenotyping. Through live demonstrations using rhizotrons, attendees will discover the differences between monocot and dicot root systems, with examples such as wheat and buckwheat 🌾
