As part of Fascination of Plants Day 2026, the Saclay Plant Sciences Network (SPS) will welcome around 60 high school students for a full day dedicated to discovering the fascinating world of plant biology 🌿
Through interactive workshops, presentations, and laboratory visits, students will explore topics such as plant domestication and breeding, sustainable agriculture, climate change, and the phenomenon of plant blindness (“Plant Awareness Disparity”). The programme also introduces students to experimental research approaches and careers in plant science 🔬🌍
Participants will take part in engaging activities designed to encourage scientific curiosity and raise awareness about the essential role of plants in our societies and ecosystems.
