Uno de los grupos de plantas que más han fascinado a la humanidad es el de las orquídeas. Se trata de una familia muy numerosa con al menos 30000 especies y un mayor número de híbridos cultivados. Viven una diversidad de hábitats, desde el nivel del mar hasta zonas áridas. Este taller está orientado a aquellas ersonas aficionadas a estas plantas y que están interesadas en conocer más sobre su cultivo.

Established in 2011, the Office of Student Academic Services (OSAS) is responsible for experiential learning opportunities and funding (SEEF), field studies, internship placements and awards, science communication training, outreach programs and academic advising (most programs in the Bachelor of Science, AgEnvSc degree).
OSAS is based in the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, located on the beautiful Macdonald Campus of McGill University. It directly reports to the Dean of the Faculty.
