During May 18^th, 2026, Hawassa University invites and celebrated the events through visiting plant growing at lath house, plant research sites and activities have been done at molecular and photobiology laboratories together with  primary school  and 4^th year graduating Horticultural BSc students. These activities aim to plant a seed in the minds of young generation and communities both locally and worldwide about the immense importance of plant science, both now and in the future, for social, environmental, and economic development.
