O ottimo “Dia Mundial do Fascínio das Plantas” 2026 (FoPD 2026) está a ser lançado por cientistas de plantas de todo o mundo sob a égide da European Plant Science Organisation (EPSO).
The eighth international “Fascination of Plants Day” around 18 May 2026 will be launched by plant scientists across the world under the umbrella of the European Plant Science Organisation (EPSO).
Pretende-se com esta iniciativa fazer com que o maior número possível de pessoas em todo o mundo desperte para o fascínio das plantas e para a importância do seu estudo na melhoria da agricultura e produção sustentável de alimentos, bem como para a horticultura, silvicultura e produção de bens não-alimentares, como papel, madeira, químicos, fármacos e energia. O papel determinante das plantas na conservação do meio ambiente será igualmente objeto de destaque.
Todos são bem vindos a participar desta iniciativa!
The goal of this activity is to get as many people as possible around the world fascinated by plants and enthused about the importance of plant science for agriculture and sustainable production of nutritious food, as well as for horticulture, forestry and the production of plant-based non-food products such as paper, timber, chemicals, energy and pharmaceuticals. The role of plants in environmental conservation is also a key message.

O Bioclub é uma associação de estudantes universitários pertencentes ao curso de Biologia da Faculdade de Ciências Naturais da Universidade Agostinho Neto, focados em desenvolver o interesse pelo curso, a consciência ambiental e o amor a ciência da Vida.
O BioClub realizará um seminário educativo numa escola primária sobre a importância das plantas para a vida e o ambiente. Após o seminário, haverá uma oficina prática em que o BioClub iniciará a produção de artesanatos herbários e os estudantes concluíram as peças, aprendendo técnicas criativas e valorizando a consciência ambiental.
Bioclub is an association of undergraduate students in the Biology program at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Agostinho Neto University, dedicated to fostering interest in the program, environmental awareness, and a love for the life sciences.
The BioClub will organize an educational seminar at a primary school about the importance of plants for life and the environment. After the seminar, there will be a hands-on workshop where the BioClub will start the production of herbarium crafts and the students will finish the pieces, learning creative techniques and strengthening environmental awareness.
